Great things for the Lord in TAC - Zambia

The Vicar General of the TAC’s Continuing Anglican Church of Zambia, the Very Reverend Andrew Mukuyamba writes:

Dear All in Christ our Saviour,

Greetings from The Continuing Anglican Communion in Zambia - C.A.C.Z. We hope you are all well and that the good Lord is keeping you safe.

I want to share with you one of the great things the Lord has done in our life and the life of His Church here in Zambia in the month of July 2009.

On 25th July we had a great service at which 120 people were confirmed in the Church as full communicants. And on 26th July we had another great service with over 500 people in attendance. This was the ordination service at which five gentlemen were ordained as deacons after completing their three years theological training at our residential seminary in Lusaka. Bishop Michael Gill, our good and great friend, from the Anglican Church in Southern Africa - ACSA, conducted the ordination service. The service took place at the Church of the Good Shepherd at Makeni Centre.

We thank Bishop Michael for stepping in place of the Archbishop at the last moment, and indeed thank his family for releasing him. We also thank all who have rendered support spiritually, morally, financially and materially during the training period of the men especially the International Anglican Fellowship board and Executive Director. May the Almighty God keep on blessing your ministry and work abundantly and also keep you well.

Yours in the service of Christ our Lord,
Fr. Andrew Mukuyamba
